2. NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM
Calling all veiled villains and caped crusaders. Channel your powers, assemble your squad, and head to the National Museum on Friday night for Night at the Museum: Hero v Villain. Take to the skies on the green screen, tackle the superhero and villain boot camp, design your own character with a cartoonist, cross swords with a fight choreographer or just watch all the magic unfold. And dress as your favourite superhero or villain - although leave the weapons at home. Night at the Museum: Hero v Villain is on Friday April 28, 6-9.30pm. It's 18+ only and tickets are $15 from nma.gov.au or $18 at the door.

5. THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG
It's now showing on Broadway, but you don't have to go that far to see The Play That Goes Wrong - it's on at Canberra Theatre Centre April 25-30. The hilarious show sees the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society putting on a 1920s murder mystery, but as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong, does. The accident-prone thespians battle on against all the odds to get to their final curtain call. For show times and tickets, visit canberratheatrecentre.com.au.
