The house fire, in Davice Place in Chisholm, broke out about 7.30am. No one was in the four-bedroom house at the time.
Three ACT Fire & Rescue pumpers and their crews put the blaze out, containing it to one room. However, the heat and smoke damage and the rest of the house was extensive.
