A 42-year-old man faced the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday after police seized about 300 cannabis plants and more than $20,000 in cash.

ACT Policing's criminal investigations team allegedly found the drugs and money when they executed a search warrant in Spence on Wednesday night. Officers were continuing to search the premises on Thursday.
The Melba man has been charged with drug and trafficking offences, including cultivating a commercial quantity of a controlled plant.
He was refused bail during an appearance in court on Thursday. He did not enter pleas.
The case is due back in court on July 5.
