The Glassworks has activities for children (4pm to 8pm) and adults (8pm to 10pm) on the day.
Outside in the ActewAGL activity tent from 4pm to 8pm, kids can make a tea light, kaleidoscope, sea glass pendant or wonder jar; dig for relics or explore the different textures and sensations of glass.

And that's where the need for the glass jars comes in.
Wonder Jars incorporate materials that glow in the dark to create little worlds in a jar, under the sea, on the moon or perhaps from the dinosaur era.
So the Glassworks needs lots of glass jars to make that happen, with it accepting donations from now.
People are asked to drop-off clean jars with lids, roughly the size of a peanut butter jar.
Kids "need to be able to fit their hands in them so no passata jars or tiny ones please''.
The Glassworks will have a crate at its back dock for dropping them off at any time, as the institution is only open otherwise to the public from Wednesday to Sunday.
