Five people have been taken to hospital in a horror morning for cyclists and motorbike riders on Queensland roads, while a person has died in hospital after an accident at the weekend.

A man in his 40s was rushed to Princess Alexandra hospital after a truck and motorcycle crash in Coopers Plains just after 8am on Tuesday.
A man with significant chest, abdomen and pelvic injuries was treated by paramedics at the scene, on Rosedale Street and Boundary Road.
He was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
About 8.40am a man in his 40s was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a stable condition after a truck and bicycle crash on Oxley Station Road.
Meanwhile, a third patient was taken to Robina Hospital on the Gold Coast in a stable condition after a vehicle and bicycle crash on Highfield Drive about 8.30am.
Further north, a patient was taken to Townsville Hospital in a stable condition with an injured leg, after a vehicle and bicycle crashed in Kirwan just after 8am.
And just after 9am three ambulance crews attended a crash between a vehicle and motorbike on Mackay Bucasia Road, with paramedics preparing one patient for transport about 9.30am.
Overnight, a man died at a Gold Coast hospital after being hit by a vehicle on Saturday evening.
Police said the accident happened on the Gold Coast Highway at Tugun about 9.05pm.
When emergency services arrived the 27-year-old Tugun man had significant head injuries and was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
