Hold on to your shirts, jeans and hats Yass - it looks like you're about to get a serious makeover from five of television's most fabulous style icons.
The stars of Netflix's Queer Eye arrived in Canberra on Tuesday morning, checking in to the Ovolo Hotel (formerly Hotel Hotel) and lunching at The Cupping Room on London Circuit.
But it looks as though the fab five are really here to spend the whole of Wednesday about 60km across the border in Yass, NSW.
Huge billboards have been erected on the Barton Highway just outside of Yass, featuring the show's stars - Antoni Porowsi, Tan France, Karomo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness and Bobby Berk - thanking people for visiting the NSW country town, population 6,500.
And it's well-known to avid Queer Eye viewers that the modernised version of yes - "yasss" - is one of the fab five's favourite sayings.
So who's the lucky bloke about to have his life completely overhauled by the makeover kings?
Yass resident Julia Nicholls told Fairfax Media that interviews for the reality television show, famous for recreating the wardrobes and homes of nominally daggy men, had been conducted at the Club House, a pub in Yass, a couple of months ago.
And according to our sister paper, the Yass Tribune, a special media event is being hosted by Yass Valley Tourism and "a production crew" at 5pm on Wednesday night. The purpose of the meeting has not been disclosed.
Given Yass Valley Tourism's involvement, could the stylish stars be about to make over the entire town?
At least one business has welcomed the Queer Eye boys to Yass. Birch & Willow Florist and Event Stylist posted a photo of the fab five enjoying a champagne cheers and said she hoped they were enjoying the weather.
Netflix, the producers of Queer Eye, declined to comment.
Canberra Queer Eye fans were beside themselves on Tuesday morning when the show's resident design expert, Bobby Berk, began posting photos to his Instagram story that clearly showed him at Ovolo Hotel (formerly Hotel Hotel).
The five stars then walked from New Acton to London Circuit eatery The Cupping Room, where the show's gorgeous groomer, Jonathan Van Ness, posted photos and videos of his co-stars attempting Australian accents over lunch.
By this time, fans were heading to Cupping Room from all corners of Canberra to get a glimpse of the stars.
