A person has been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in a Canberra motel bathroom.

The Emergency Services Agency said firefighters were called to Greenleigh Central Canberra Motel on Cotton Road in Weston Creek about 12.45pm Sunday.
"They responded with two pumpers and two command vehicles. The fire was contained to its room of origin, which was a bathroom," the agency said in a statement.
"ACT Ambulance Service treated a male for smoke inhalation."
