Centrelink been embroiled in controversy for more than six months and it appears the fallout from the robo-debt saga is not abating yet.
The online compliance system has been blamed for a huge surge in legal challenges by people facing the welfare agency's demands for money.

The ACT Government has moved to set a three-year deadline for land owners to seek compensation if the government compulsorily acquires their land.
The bill to set a time limit, tabled in the ACT parliament on Thursday, applies to land that has already been acquired by the government.

'Crafty' detective work leads to cafe arson conviction

There was no identifying detail in the footage, no eyewitnesses and no forensic evidence.
It was dogged detective work that led to guilty verdicts of two men accused of torching a Brierly Street cafe in Weston.
