A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a cross-town crime spree of six aggravated robberies.

The man was arrested in Tuggeranong on Tuesday afternoon and will face the ACT Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning.
Police alleged the man was responsible for the recent robberies of the RUC in Turner, the G-Spot in Gungahlin, the Belconnen Soccer Club, Canberra Cellars in Nicholls, UC Supermarket in Bruce and Woolworths in Dunlop.
They said they would be opposing bail and asked anyone with information on the robberies to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
