King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands will visit Australia from October 31 to November 4.
The visit will coincide with commemorative activities marking the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the landing in Western Australia of Dutch explorer Dirk Hartog.
Given they were invited by the G-G, it's a fair chance they will spend some time in the national capital.
It will be their first official visit to Australia since they took the throne. They were a mere prince and princess when they last visited Canberra in 2006.
