While it's now well and truly autumn, it seems the leaves are still yet to get the memo.
The lingering warmer weather has meant many leaves are yet to take on the red and gold tinge synonymous with this part of the year.
But if you're looking for your fix of the colours already, check out the new Autumn Winter collection by local label Zilpah Tart.
Designer Yumi Morrissey uses her own photos shot around Canberra to design fabrics for each of her collections. For her launch collection, which debuted at Fashfest last year, she featured patterns from Parliament House and the Civic Fountain.
This time around, it's all about the colours of autumn.
"The three prints came from photographs that I took last April. Two of them were from Lake Ginninderra and the third one was from the English Gardens art Yarralumla," Yumi said.
"I wanted to do autumn leaves because that's something Canberra does well, and each collection I try and do something that's very much Canberra. So I went around to spots where I knew there were really pretty autumn leaves and took a whole stack of photos."
The print is available in Yumi's three most popular styles of dress – the T-shirt dress, a long-sleeved dress and a cross-front dress.
"I chose three [shots] that had some really beautiful colours in them, but to tie them all together I played around with them in Photoshop and what I ended up doing was turning the background or mostly the sky into greyscale," she said.
"So they all fit together and that also made the colours and the leaves stand out more as well."
