A staffer of a Civic massage store was left with cuts to her right forearm after she tried to stop a man robbing the Canberra Centre outlet on Sunday, police say.

The man entered the Royal Hands Massage store about 5.15pm with a holding "sharp-edged weapon" and took cash from the drawer at the front of the store while a second man stood watch outside, police said.
The staff member's right forearm was cut by the weapon when she attempted to stop the man taking the cash, dramatic CCTV footage shows.
The struggle spilled out into the shopping centre walkway in front of several members of the public, but the footage shows the man knock the woman to the ground and run from the centre with the cash.ACT Policing is investigating the aggravated robbery and calling for witnesses to come forward.
The male offender is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 30 and 40-years-old, with a solid build and about 180cm tall.
He was wearing a white baseball cap, grey hoodie, grey jacket with a white collar, blue denim jeans and white sneakers.
The second man, waiting outside the store during the robbery, is described as being of Caucasian appearance, skinny build, around 186cm to 190cm tall with short black/dark brown hair and a beard.
He was wearing a dark jacket with a white collar and blue denim jeans.
