The touring, regional film, music, comedy and arts festival will return to Canberra for the fifth time on January 31, with a new collection of short films.
BAFTA award-winning film Room 8 from Britain and Los Angeles Film Festival winner The Gunfighter will premiere in Australia at the festival.
German short Flamingo Pride will also feature in the line-up, alongside British film The Phone Call, which has been short-listed for an Oscar nomination in 2015.
The remainder of the films will be kept under wraps until the night.
This year's line-up is curated by award-winning actress Deborah Mailman.
Mailman was the first Aboriginal actress to win the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. She is also well known for her roles in The Secret Life Of Us, Offspring, Bran Nue Dae and The Sapphires.
As well as short films, Flix in the Stix will showcase live music by ARIA award-winning artists My Friend the Chocolate Cake, and comedy from ARIA award-winning Tripod.
Flix in the Stix is on January 31 at the Australian National Botanic Gardens. Tickets available from flixinthestix.com.au.
