A strike force was formed in July 2014 following a number of allegations from six young men, aged between eight and 16 at the time of the alleged offences.
The incidents they reported were alleged to have occurred at Tathra between 2006 and 2014.
On Monday a Tathra residence was raided by detectives and a number of items seized, as a result of which a man was arrested in Bega.
He was charged with eight counts of committing an act of indecency with a person under the age of 16, two counts of having sexual intercourse with a person between 10 and under 16 and five counts of aggravated indecent assault, as well as six other charges.
He was refused bail and will appear at Bega Local Court on Tuesday.
The strike force was composed of police from the Far South Coast Local Area Command and the Child Abuse Squad.
