Legendary jockeys Shane Dye and Jim Munro were inducted into the Hall of Fame at the event, which was staged at the National Gallery of Australia.
But there was no doubt who the star attraction was, with 1992 Melbourne Cup winner Subzero, who won the Chairman's Award, wowing the crowd.
It was the first time Canberra had hosted the event in its history, capping off a massive day of racing in the ACT after Black Opal Stakes Day at Thoroughbred Park.
