Police executed a Drugs of Dependence Act search warrant on a house in Greenway about 2pm, where they allegedly discovered about two kilograms of dried cannabis, as well as a mature cannabis plant about 1.8 metres tall, and three partially-harvested plants in the side yard.
A number of small clip seal bags and digital scales were also allegedly found. All material will be subject to analysis.
As a result, a 51-year-old Greenway woman will be summonsed to face the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.
South District acting Superintendent Daryl Neit applauded the public for providing the information that lead to the seizure.
"I would always encourage people to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 with information about suspicious people or behaviour," he said.
"They can be assured that police do analyse the details and at times where enough information has been provided, we are able to act."
