An elderly man has died in hospital after suffering head injuries during pedestrian accident in Phillip this morning.

Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics were called to the scene on Hindmarsh Drive shortly after 10am.
Police have confirmed the man, 84, was hit by a car while walking through the Magnet Mart car park.
Ambulance crews said the patient had sustained serious head injuries and was unconscious when they arrived.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to The Canberra Hospital in a serious condition.
A spokesman for ACT Policing said the collision would be investigated by the Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team.
This is the ACT's tenth road fatality this year.
