Canberra-based social enterprise, Krofne, is the latest local business to join Wing, Australia's first air delivery service.
Residents in about 100 homes at Crace, Palmerston and Franklin will be able to order freshly baked doughnuts, through the Wing app, and have them delivered by drone directly to their home.
Krofne do "doughnuts with a difference", and is a social enterprise that provides meaningful employment to people with special needs.
Danijela and John Vrkic were inspired to create Krofne, in 2016, by their son, Anthony, who has Down syndrome.
The couple started the family business with a vision that Anthony would be fully involved in the production, sale, and distribution of Krofne's European-style doughnuts.
To celebrate Krofne partnering with Wing, and to mark National Donut Day this Friday, the business says Krofne sales through the Wing app from Friday to Sunday, June 7-9, will raise money for the ACT Down Syndrome Association, a local charity supported by Krofne.

Krofne owner Danijela Vrkic said: "At Krofne we love baking a difference and we're delighted to be partnering with Wing to deliver our doughnuts by drone and expand our reach to more customers".
"Our doughnut recipe has been passed down in my family for generations and I'm glad to be able to use the recipe to create employment opportunities, not only for my son, but others with special needs in our community.
"We often say we don't employ people to bake doughnuts, we bake doughnuts to employ people. And partnering with Wing will give us the chance to access more customers and expand our operations across Canberra."
Wing head of Australian operations Terrance Bouldin-Johnson was proud to work with Krofne.
"Air delivery has the potential to support small businesses like Krofne right across the ACT, by growing retail sales, expanding their reach to more consumers, and reducing delivery costs," he said.
"We're excited to continue to work with local businesses in the Canberra region and help them reach more customers faster, safer and more sustainably."
Earlier this year, Wing launched its first air delivery service in Gungahlin for customers to order items such as fresh food, hot coffee or over-the-counter chemist items on its mobile app, and have them delivered directly to people's homes by drone "in minutes''.
Wing expects the delivery service, initially available to only 100 eligible homes as part of its Early Flyer program, to gradually expand to more customers in Gungahlin in the coming months.
