The event will return to Archer Racecourse on July 28.
There will be more than 90 stalls at the festival with live entertainment and a jumping castle.
Event founder Lynn Locke said she was excited about the new additions to the festival, which include the chocolate eating competition.
"As the festival continues to grow each year, and after last year's huge turnout, we were looking to diversify the type of events we have on offer, particularly for children and families," she said.
"This year, those with a sweet tooth will not be left out with the launch of our inaugural 'Mouth of the South' chocolate eating competition, which will challenge the participants to tackle one kilogram of chocolate in the fastest time to win," Ms Locke said.
Celebrity chef Jason Roberts and last year's Patisserie of the Year finalist Travin Dehoeldt will perform live cooking demonstrations while popular pâtissier and chocolatier Esti Garcia will showcase his chocolate expertise.
The festival will also host a children's cooking class with Australia's 'Gluten Free Queen', Rowie Dillon.
Rowie will not only teach the children new cooking techniques, but they will be able to make lunch and take home a treat. All children attending the cooking class will receive a gift bag filled with lots of goodies. To join is $10 per child, with all proceeds going to the Westmead Children's Hospital.
Topping off the day will be the return of the infamous chilli eating competition.
Mr Chilli will also be on hand to judge and award the coveted Best Chilli product and Best Chilli and Chocolate product on the day.
