A senior constable who was part of the highway patrol unit in Queanbeyan will face court charged with domestic violence offences.

A NSW police spokesman said officers were called to a home in Queanbeyan West about 2.30am Sunday following reports of a domestic incident.
The senior constable, a 40-year-old man, was arrested at the scene and taken to Queanbeyan police station.
A 27-year-old woman was found with minor head injuries, but was not taken to hospital.
The senior constable was charged with domestic violence-related offences, including three counts of common assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
An apprehended violence order against the senior constable was granted.
The man was granted conditional bail and is expected to appear before Queanbeyan Local Court on Monday.
