She has - what she describes as - a love-hate relationship with the red carpet. Sure Croker loves getting dressed up, but still describes the red carpet to be like "a line-up". Luckily, she has husband and Raiders captain Jarrod Croker to help her out.
"My heart just pounds before we're about to walk on and I'm turning to Jarrod asking if my hair's OK, is there anything on my teeth? Check this, check that," she says.
"He's got the memo on what to do but it's extremely daunting. There are people there watching you, and there are different cameras and I guess just being told to face the camera and do this, do that. It's 10 minutes of heart palpitations but it is all worth it."
Croker also has someone else in her corner when it comes to the red carpet - fashion stylist Donny Galella.
Wednesday's event will be Croker's third Dally M awards with Galella as her stylist and even had his help for her wedding in 2017.
"You don't have any qualms or any worries because you know if there is anything he'll pick them out and change it as well," Croker says.
"He picks up every little detail. Even when you're walking the red carpet he'll literally come along and [fix] your dress - he's on to it all."
Croker - along with the other NRL wives and girlfriends who have enlisted the help of Galella for the awards - travelled to Sydney for her styling session last week before the big night.
Settling on a gown - which is still being made - by Sydney designer Daniel Avakian, Croker won't actually pick up the dress until Tuesday.
"I think it will be a bit of a surprise," Croker says.
"It's going to be very different from traditional Dally M dresses.
"The designer Daniel has gone very out there and he kind of wants it to be a bit of a 'wow' of a dress, so here's hoping I can rock it."
And despite the tight time frame, Croker isn't worried about needing any last-minute alterations.
"I think last year Jarrad and I were holidaying in the Maldives and we flew in the morning of the Dally Ms so I literally had to send my measurements while we were away and then holiday for two weeks and hope that the dress fitted me when I got home," she says.
"At least I got to try this one on and he's got my measurements properly."
Croker's overall look was inspired by Kendall Jenner, with some of the model and reality star's recent looks popping up during research for the Dally M dress.
"We've been keeping an eye on her and what she's been wearing and she's rocked a few dresses that I've really liked lately," Croker says.
"It's just been recently but I think she's just funky and she's got a good vibe. I guess me having dark hair and her being dark hair I kind of tend to go towards that sort of thing.
"But I guess she's just been a common photo I've been sending through - it's always been Kendall in it."
