Police arrested a 29-year-old in Belconnen on Wednesday afternoon, charging him with using a carriage service to threaten to kill.
It's alleged the 29-year-old sent multiple emails to an ACT police officer on Tuesday, threatening to kill the officer and the officer's family.
The man was arrested following an investigation into the alleged threats.
The 29-year-old will face the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday, where police will oppose bail.
