That was the resounding message from Canberra Raiders second-rower Sia Soliola, who has vowed to turn grand final heart break into motivation for the Green Machine's 2020 campaign.
Thoughts of the Raiders' shattering loss to the Sydney Roosters can now be put to bed with the release of next year's NRL draw.
But the memory of that night still burns as they look to kick off their preparations next month potentially without a handful of their grand final stars.
There's Jordan Rapana switching to rugby union to play for Japanese outfit Panasonic Wild Knights. Joey Leilua has been linked to other clubs. Aidan Sezer's future is up in the air.
Soliola has one year remaining on his contract but is yet to make a decision on his playing future in rugby league.
The 33-year-old got so close to his premiership dream he could almost touch it, but like all other losses, time and training will help put their grand final loss behind them.

"It still hurts but we're going to use it as a big drive for next year," Soliola said.
"It's really going to spur us on for something bigger and better I believe.
"It's just time. For a lot of us, especially after we suffer a loss in the season, the best way to [move forward] is to get back into training and actually start doing the work and [preparation] for the following weeks. That's generally how it is.
"We'll get back into training again. It will just feel like we're ready for our next challenge and preparing for what's to come. That's generally how I get over things pretty quickly."
The release of next year's draw has eased the Raiders bounce back from grand final heartbreak as they set their sights on lifting the Provan-Summons trophy.
"We're all just getting things on the move now," Soliola said.
"It's all about reconnecting with the squad and understanding what it is. We know what it took to get here last season and now we know whats needed to take place a little bit more to get there again.
"Our year doesn't go from January to December, it goes from October to November. When you look at things like that, it puts things back on track for us to prepare and move forward to what's ahead. We want to add to what we did this year."
The Raiders will kick off their 2020 campaign against the Gold Coast Titans at Canberra Stadium, before playing in an historic NRL-Super Rugby double header in round two.
Raiders will play the New Zealand Warriors as part of a double header with the ACT Brumbies and Auckland Blues playing afterwards at Eden Park on March 21.
Meanwhile, Soliola has been nominated for the the People's Sporting Championship at the Canberra Sports Awards. The Raiders are one of three finalists for Team of the Year and compete with the Brumbies and Canberra Capitals for the award.
"How cool is that? It goes to show how great Canberra is, and this year in particular, there's some great achievements all around," Soliola said.
"It's just awesome how we can all come together to celebrate what Canberrans have achieved this year. It's nice the Raiders can be part of it.
"We can all connect and acknowledge each other. Sometimes as athletes we just get invested and involved with what we do in our own little bubble."
