The Canberra United recruit has been named in Heather Garriock's 15-strong squad to face Perth Glory at McKellar Park on Sunday.
Few could imagine making their W-League debut at 32-years-old with a toddler in tow, but Rasschaert is forging a path of her own.
She was named player of the year following an impressive campaign with Belconnen in the National Premier League and has brought that form into Canberra United's pre-season.
Garriock is confident the defender will rise to the occasion because she's performed consistently during their round-one preparations.

"Every player I've handpicked, I'm so excited we've got some local players and young guns for this weekend's match at McKellar Park," Garriock said.
"Some of these local girls have performed at such a high level at our own women's NPL but to play and possibly debut is exceptional.
"It just goes to show young girls and boys have a pathway here [and can] achieve their dreams and play for Canberra United."
Rasschaert is one of three local players in Garriock's side, joining Canberra United Academy duo Laura Hughes and Hayley Taylor-Young.
Hughes returns for her third straight W-League season, while Taylor-Young has a nervous wait before making her national debut.
The 17-year-old striker is looking to test herself at the next level after scoring 30 goals in 17 games to claim Golden Boot honours in the Capital Football NPLW competition.
"Consistency is key and players like Laura Hughes, Jessie Rasschaert and Hayley Taylor-Young have been consistent in the pre-season," Garriock said.
"If they get selected they'll take a step up because they've played exceptionally during training this week.
"It's been four weeks of pre-season and this is the moment we've been waiting for. We're just delighted that our first home game is going to be at McKellar Park [this Sunday.]"
Canberra United held an undefeated record at the venue last season, with three wins and three draws but Garriock says the club's longstanding history is irrelevant.
"We haven't spoken about it as a team because it's a new team," Garriock said.
"It's a new team, new culture, there's new characters, and a good sense of play come this [Sunday].
"If we can start on the right foot this weekend, that's really important because it builds culture, momentum, camaraderie and most importantly, belief.
"To get three points at McKellar Park to start off is super important for us."
