Scott faces six charges, including two counts of assaulting a police officer, and is set to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on February 20.
The 22-year-old was set to return to training after a few days off on Wednesday morning, but the club has opted to give him time off instead.
Canberra are working with the NRL's integrity unit and NRL chief executive Todd Greenberg is expected to make a decision next week on whether the former Melbourne Storm centre will be stood down as a result of the allegations.
Scott was arrested by NSW Police in Sydney on Monday morning, when they allegedly tasered him and he spent the night in jail.
He'd fallen asleep in the parklands near the SCG when they awoke him.
The man who Scott was brought in to replace, Joey Leilua, said it was disappointing, but there was always two sides to the story.
Leilua joined the Wests Tigers on a three-year deal over the weekend.
"It's a bit disappointing to be honest. But there's always two sides to a story," he said.
"No one has heard Curtis's side of the story, probably won't until court's over.
"I can't say anything bad about the bloke. He's a good kid, great kid coming through the ranks.

"I just hope he learns from this and we'll see what happens.
"I don't know what the club's going to do with him, but in previous years when things have happened they've taken a hard stance on players.
"I won't be surprised if something happens."
Leilua expected Michael Oldfield would be the one to come in if Scott was suspended.
Oldfield filled in for the Raiders at right centre in the past, and has scored 12 tries in 18 games for the Green Machine.
"There's young kids coming through, but I think Oldie will be there," Leilua said.
"He's definitely filled in a lot of times there and he's done a great job.
"He knows how to play and he knows his game. He's always reliable.
"I have a lot of respect for Oldie, for what he's done for the club and himself."
