"That'll do it, mate," Shane Devoy told Weston Creek Molonglo's John Rogers as he stepped up to bowl the final over at Stirling Oval.
And Rogers was more than happy to pull the pin without bowling a single ball.
Weston Creek blasted 4-399 to secure their spot in the Douglas Cup final on Sunday, setting up a three-day showdown with minor premiers Western Districts.
Rogers led the charge and scored 174 not out, hitting 26 boundaries with 21 fours and five sixes.
"I've never done that in a semi-final, I'll put it up there with my favourite innings," Rogers said.
"There was only one key thing and that one thing was to not give them a sniff. It was about getting to lunch by continuing to score and not lose wickets.
"It was also making sure Zak [Keogh] got his century."
Keogh scored his maiden first-grade century with a 101-run haul, becoming the second youngest player to do so in the competition.
Sam Taylor came into the crease but was quickly dismissed by Devoy for nine, leaving Joshua Low-McMahon to round out the stellar innings with 23.
"I was more than happy to pull the pin there because it put us in a good position for the grand final," Rogers said.
"If we're going to beat Wests next week, we're going to have to bat for quite a long time.
"It's a three-day game which puts a whole lot of other elements into it, essentially all bets are off.
"It's an even playing field and you're always in with a chance, even if you're behind by a long way you can still work your way back.
"I think it'll shape up to be a great final, bar any coronavirus corruptions."

Western Districts scrapped their way past ANU with a one-wicket win at Jamison Oval, surviving a superb target defence.
ANU all-rounder Ben Mitchell backed up his batting masterclass with a stunning bowling performance, taking five wickets and bowling 10 maidens.
Luke Crocker claimed four wickets and 13 maidens, but their efforts couldn't keep Western Districts from closing down the match in the 67th over.
