St John's Care in Reid had a man who had been sleeping on the streets for five months come into the centre this week "so cold he could not talk".
St John's gave him a swag, sleeping bag, warm clothes and contacts for services. He left warmer and happier.
The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is also on June 20 to raise money for homeless services.
COVID-19 means no mass gathering but CEOs choosing to sleep in their backyard or balcony or couch or in their car.
