The No. 1 contender in One Championship's Muay Thai strawweight division has signed a six-fight deal with the promotion to keep him on the books for another two years.
His next bout could be for the strawweight championship against Thai superstar Sam-A Gaiyanghadao.
So, how about being on a video game? That's when "you know you've made it", Tonna grins.
One Championship officials have teased a video game on Playstation 5 which created plenty of hype among fighters and fans alike, with Tonna among them.
MORE CANBERRA SPORT
But first there is the little matter of securing a world title abroad and laying the platform for the promotion's long-awaited foray into Australia.
Six fights on a new contract and the prospect of becoming a champion could then fuel Tonna's bid to headline a One Championship blockbuster at Canberra Stadium.
But Tonna's first wish is a title bout which could come to fruition in the coming months as sports bounce back from the coronavirus pandemic.
"I'm hoping that's my first back," Tonna said.
"Knowing I'm contracted for the next couple of years, I don't have to worry about fights. Being at the top, just one below the belt, that's what I'm focusing on. Hopefully I can get my shot.
"It gives me two years of guaranteed fights. It is similar to the last deal, this one is three fights a year for two years. Hopefully the first one is not too far away."
Tonna is sitting fourth in the rankings for kickboxing's strawweight division - another in which Gaiyanghadao reigns supreme.
So once he has his hands on the Muay Thai strap, the Canberra product wouldn't mind surging up the kickboxing ranks.
"I've got a few fighters I'm looking out for in kickboxing as well. Whatever fight they give me, I do," Tonna said.
"I get a little bit of say, that's how I got the Andy [Howson] fight, I kept asking for it and pestering them. Now with a couple of wins, I've got a bit of traction to help me get the fights I want.
"I'm getting a bit more popular so that helps out. If I call out No. 2 or No. 1, I might be able to get it."
