Another man was also charged in a seperate incident after allegedly driving with a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit.
ACT Policing arrested the Evatt man after a Ford station wagon was allegedly seen going 120km/h in a 60km/h zone on Maribyrnong Avenue, Kaleen, around 11pm Wednesday.
The 31-year-old had a blood alcohol reading of 0.077, police allege.
Police later found the vehicle was allegedly unregistered and his licence was disqualified.
He is expected to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday charged with driving while disqualified, drink driving, driving an unregistered vehicle and breach of good behaviour obligations.
A 29-year-old Macquarie man was also charged with drink driving around 5am Thursday after allegedly causing a disturbance in Reid.
Police allege he admitted he did not have a licence and recorded a blood alcohol level of 0.171.
He will face the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date, charged with driving while disqualified and drink driving.
