Sammie Wood had fallen out of love with footy. With her mum's illness and a bad break-up not helping.

But a coronavirus-enforced break has seen her return to the Queanbeyan Blues reinvigorated. And scoring tries like there's no tomorrow.
She's crossed the stripe six times in two games in her rugby league return, after spending a few years off playing rugby union.
But with ex-Canberra Raider Terry Campese constantly in her ear she's back with the Blues and will run out against the Bushpies at Phillip Oval on Saturday.
She's still playing club rugby union as well - for the Uni North Owls - having played Super W for the ACT Brumbies and sevens for the University of Canberra.
Not to mention taking up motocross on her Sunday's off. But the former Canberra United W-League player hasn't kicked a soccer ball in years.
She had a tough start to 2020 - her mother has hereditary spastic paraplegia syndrome.
So dealing with that and the end of a relationship, being forced to take time off from sport during the lockdown actually allowed her to reset.
"I fell out of love with the game, with all footy really, and went through a really bad time at the beginning of the year," Wood said.
"And rebuilt my network system and thought, 'Let's have some fun and I'll go play some league' because I remembered that's where it all started when I came down to Canberra.
"I had the best year with the Blues team and Terry's been giving me grief since the moment I left the Blues. He's pretty happy that I'm back."
Wood is playing in the halves, which is a bit of a change from her old league days when she was in the second row.
But it's obviously working - she scored four tries in their big win over the Tuggeranong Buffaloes last weekend and two the week before against West Belconnen.
Not bad form to take in against the Blues' fellow unbeaten side, the Bushpies.
"Massive surprise for me. I'm not one to normally do those things," she said.
