The man, who is also 18, fronted the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday afternoon and was granted bail with conditions.
His identity was suppressed at the request of prosecutors, who said publishing his name would potentially put him in danger and expose him to harassment on social media.
He did not enter a plea to one charge: being an accessory after the fact to murder.
Police arrested another two people, teenagers, on Thursday over the fatal skatepark fight.
One, a 17-year-old girl, was charged with being knowingly concerned with affray.
She did not enter a plea in the ACT Children's Court, and neither did a 16-year-old boy charged with affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Police allege the skatepark stabbing was the culmination of the 16-year-old boy and another teenager arguing on social media and then agreeing to fight in the early hours of September 27.

The 16-year-old allegedly confronted this teenager as soon as he arrived; engaging in a "physical altercation" with him while the teenager was still seated in a car, which had been driven to the skatepark by his 18-year-old cousin.
The 16-year-old allegedly left the scene, and the teenager was left with stab wounds. His 18-year-old cousin - his driver - ended up with six stab wounds and dead on the ground near the car.
He'd allegedly been grabbed and beaten by three men before they went to retrieve weapons. Police say he was then ultimately killed by a 16-year-old he didn't know.
That 16-year-old has pleaded not guilty to four charges, including murder and affray.
In a statement issued on Thursday, ACT Policing Detective Superintendent Scott Moller said: "A young man died that night and all those involved showed a disregard for the life and safety of their friends and others.
"What's sad is there were numerous opportunities for everyone to put the phones down and walk away before it became physical."
Police have now charged a total nine people over the skatepark incident.
All of those allegedly involved are due back in court early next year.
