1. ONE22 grand opening
If COVID-19 has stopped you from being your true raver self the grand opening of ONE22 at the Sydney Building is the perfect way to get reintroduced to Canberra's nightlife. Drinks will flow and DJs will lay tracks from 4pm on Saturday, December 19. Renowned DJ BOOGS will appear for a three-hour set. Better yet, entry is free until 12am. 2. Kokoloco annual ball
Dust off your frocks and get on your dancing shoes on for the Kokoloco dance school's annual ball at the Helenic Club in Woden. The theme is ravishing red, so wear your best scarlet or crimson cocktail or formal attire on Saturday night. The ball will feature music from DJ Edstar, and will feature dance performances, food, prizes, awards and videographers to capture the event. Entry is $45 per person. 3. Doggy day out
Bring your four-legged friend along to the Mallee Pavilion at EPIC for a day of fun this Saturday. A Pooch Affair is running a Christmas event for pups and their humans featuring a Christmas photo booth, a mobile dog wash and a dog mall. 4. Old Canberra Inn Christmas fest
Get out your Christmas sweaters and head down to the iconic and historic Old Canberra Inn for booze, food and live music. Capital Brewing beers will be flowing at the outdoor bar. 5. Sly Fox Christmas market
Finish up your last-minute Christmas shopping with a community Christmas market run by Sly Fox Coffee. Stalls will be set up along the bike trail adjacent to the O'Connor oval.
