ACT Health issued "strengthened travel advice" on Saturday afternoon that given the evolving situation in Queensland and confirmation of community transmission of the UK variant of coronavirus, visitors to the Brisbane City Council or Moreton Bay Regional Council areas could be at risk.
From midday Sunday, anyone entering or already in the ACT who has been in Greater Brisbane on or after March 11 needs to complete an online declaration form within 24 hours.
The mandatory declaration will require people to identify whether they have attended any of the close or casual contact exposure locations identified by the Queensland government at the specified times.

Among the nine identified hotspots are a Westfield shopping centre, a Bunnings hardware store and an Aldi supermarket.
The Queensland government has advised anyone who has visited the locations last week during times specified to get tested immediately, even if visitors have no symptoms.
ACT Health said it was continuing to monitor the situation in Queensland closely and would respond further if needed.
