No Limit Boxing promoter George Rose has his sights set on luring a world title fight to a stadium in a blockbuster event that would mirror Jeff Horn's memorable win over Manny Pacquiao in Brisbane in 2017.
Tszyu's ranking as the WBO's No.1 contender means he is potentially one step away from a shot at champion Brian Castano.
All three of the other major world titles are held by Jermell Charlo, potentially opening the door for a unification bout with the WBA, WBC and IBF champion.
But first Tszyu must get through former world title challenger Dennis Hogan at a sold-out Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Wednesday night.
MORE BOXING
"It would be great if we could get him out here and put on a massive fight for Tim's first world title shot," Rose said.
"Tim is turning into a superstar in Australian sport, well and truly. He is a superstar in Australian boxing, but Australian sport in general.
"Fighting for a world title on your home soil in front of a massive crowd is what he deserves for his world title shot. Hopefully that's something we can make happen.
"This fight has been a blessing in the COVID situation we're in, Tim gets to fight a guy who has only ever lost to world champions. That sets a standard for where he's at. If you can beat Dennis Hogan, he is at that next level, and he is ready to step up.
"Fights that make sense after that is to look overseas and look at who's next in line. Based on how his performance goes on Wednesday night, if he has a really good win, he needs to be in line for a mandatory shot at the title."
