Between Earth and Sky
Between Earth and Sky features the work of 2020 Craft ACT artists in residence Jennifer Kemarre Martiniello and Sharon Peoples, whose residency plans were delayed - but in no way diminished - due to the pandemic. The new exhibition which features textiles, glass and mixed media is a result of the Craft ACT residency last year at the Ready-Cut Cottage in Namadgi National Park and research of the National Museum of Australia. Craft ACT. Continues until May 22.

Black Summer 2020
Black Summer 2020: The Aftermath from photographer Ben Kopilow explores the environmental damage done by the unprecedented 2020 bushfire season in ACT/NSW. PhotoAccess. Continues until June 5.
Hot/Cold
Exploring themes of seasonal, climatic and emotional extremes, Hot/Cold brings together new work by artists from across the PhotoAccess member community. Parliament House
Monday marked the 80th anniversary of the worst bombing raid of the London Blitz, a seven-hour attack that destroyed Britain's House of Commons Chamber, and damaged Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. Parliament House is marking the day with a display of relics from the blitz. These relics include some that were presented to then prime minister John Curtin in October 1942 by the British government. The Blitz Relics are currently all on display outside the Parliament House Theatre.
Little Girls Alone in the Woods
In an ordinary town, something is amiss. Girls have been going missing. No one knows if they've been taken, or if, for some reason, they have ventured out by themselves. The adults aren't taking any chances. A high fence is being erected. All young women are now required to be registered with the authorities and wear a tracking device. They will be monitored and controlled; they will be safe. Little Girls Alone in the Woods is an inventive adaptation of The Bacchae that puts a contemporary feminist lens on the Greek legend. Wednesday and Friday, 7.30pm. Next Saturday, 2pm and 7.30pm. Canberra Theatre Centre. Tickets are $20 from canberratheatrecentre.com.au.
Connections
Connections features Canberra PhotoConnect members and their photographic-based responses to the theme of connectivity. A testing time for many, 2020 caused a novel sense of isolation and a disconnect from family, community and environment. Through an array of images, some created through conventional photographic techniques, others experimental, Connections aims to explore the multiple approaches to reinvigorating and consociating during a pandemic. M16 Artspace. Opens on Friday, at 12pm. Continues until June 6.
Illuminations
Illuminations provides a forum for the comparison of two artists working in similar yet contrasting structures. Colin Grant is a trained oil painter whose often larger-than-life canvases depict natural scenes in vivid detail. Felicity Green is a landscape artist who paints in an ephemeral style. Her works are often surreal, seeking to evoke an internal landscape akin to a dream within a painting. M16 Artspace. Opens on Friday, 12pm. Continues until June 6.
