4 Pines Brewing has joined forces with the ice cream legends from Ben & Jerry's, putting their iconic Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavours into a beer.
The sweet and creamy, lactose-infused golden brown nitro beer is a hard-pour style. When poured hard into a glass, the nitro infusion gives the beer a mesmerising cascade of colour and a marvellous head with a creamy mouthfeel.
And Australian artisan chocolatier, Koko Black, has teamed up with award-winning homegrown brewer Modus Operandi to launch its first-ever beer, Koko Black x MODUS Choc Hazelnut Belgian Stout.
The collaboration celebrates the best of both brands, offering a full-bodied, expertly-crafted Belgian stout with an exciting Koko Black twist.
Using Koko Black's "Nuts to Caramel Collection" as inspiration, the brewers created the limited edition luxury beer, with additions of hazelnut and heavenly Belgian couverture chocolate.
But it's not all about indulgence. The 4 Pines project will give back to Australia's first community-owned power company Enova. Through Enova, Ben & Jerry's and 4 Pines will support a solar installation for a community group. Enova will be seeking expressions of interest from community groups who are interested in receiving funding for solar installations from this partnership.
"Since day dot, we've brewed beer that we want to drink personally and something that our mates would be proud of," says Andrew Tweddell, head brewer at 4 Pines.

"Our Ben & Jerry's-inspired brew has certainly ticked both boxes. It's truly a good beer that gives back, and the flavour profile is nostalgic and decadent. For us, we want to leave the world in a better state than we found it. As each year goes on, we're working to become a sustainable and community-minded brewery that can make a difference"
The limited-edition nitro beer will be sold as single cans, or in packs of four 330ml cans or cartons of 24 while stocks last. It will also be available on tap in selected venues - here in Canberra you can get it at the Kingston Hotel and the George Harcourt Inn - and pouring at this year's GABS Craft Beer and Cider Festival in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
The Koko Black beer will be available online via kokoblack.com
