What the ACT Brumbies have been lacking over the last few weeks is not skill related, it's a mentality to bring more intent, desire and physicality according to assistant coach Laurie Fisher.

Following a four game loosing streak, the long-time Brumbies coach said the missing element from the side's game, heading into their next Super Rugby Trans-Tasman match, was not skill related.
"We need somebody who's going to set the example, get forward, make a shot, it could be anybody," Fisher said.
"We've just got to up our physicality, up our intent, up our aggression, up our desire and again, there's nothing technical about that. It's all what's under the jumper that really needs to come out this weekend.
"I think we've still got plenty of self belief but we're obviously down a little bit on confidence."
When asked how the side were addressing the lacking intent, desire and physicality at training, Fisher said it all came down to the individual player come Saturday.
"Really it's up to the individual to look within, there's no point in coaches yelling or screaming or even the players, you [have] just got to look at your own game," he said.
"They're not things that are lost forever, so I don't think we're far away but we need to step up this weekend."

The Brumbies will face the Wellington Hurricanes on Saturday night, in their first home fixture in four games. Following their loss in the Super Rugby AU final in Brisbane against the Queensland Reds and their opening three losses in the Trans-Tasman series.
However, Fisher said the home ground advantage was real and should give the side a boost this weekend to address the mentality issue.
"It's great to get home, it's an opportunity to sort of dust ourselves off and have a genuine crack at GIO," he said.
"You don't put a figure on it but there's certainly an advantage playing at home. It's not going to win us the game, but every little things helps.
"We were pretty solid against the Crusaders, made some key errors against the Chiefs, let [Damian] McKenzie play and we were probably poor on Saturday night, we let a lot of opportunities go.
"Losing is never nice, four in a row is not nice at all, but ... our self belief isn't wavering, we just need to rediscover our best."
