The 33-year-old began her journey with the Matildas at 17, when she debuted against the Korea Republic in July 2005, before registering more than 88 caps under her belt.
The Arsenal player has since gone on to feature in four World Cups, five AFC Asian Cups and is bound for her second Olympic Games in Tokyo later this month.
Her 15 years, 11 months and 10 days with the Matildas made her the longest-serving player on Thursday. If the side progresses through the group stages in Tokyo, it will coincide with her 16th year with the national side.

However, she is still a few years away from taking Australia's longest-serving player off former Socceroos goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.
Schwarzer managed 20 years and 38 days with the men's national side, followed by Lucas Neill with 17 years and 41 days, and Harry Kewell with 17 years and 46 days. Making Williams the country's fourth longest serving player overall.
