Twenty-four of the new cases are linked, while 14 are under early investigation, and at least 16 of the new cases were infectious in the community.
Scott's Crossing construction site has been updated as a close contact location over three days last week, after a new case in today's numbers was linked to the site.
One new case was also linked to Calvary Haydon Retirement Community, two to the 7 London Circuit construction site and another two a construction site which is linked to London Circuit.

Health Minister Rachel Stephen-Smith urged people not to defy health restrictions as they gather for the long weekend and NRL Grand Final, saying that even some legal gatherings had been linked to transmission.
"We are also seeing some evidence of transmission at those gathering that are perfectly OK under the health directions.
"The health directions are in place for a reason, and breaking them can endanger yourself, your family and your friends."
