Are you prepared to celebrate their reopening next week at the stroke of midnight on Friday, October 15?
As Canberra's restaurants and cafes prepare to reopen, one much-loved eatery, Grease Monkey, is wasting no time getting back to business post-lockdown.
It's giving 10 keen beans a seat at its Midnight Feast - opening its doors at 11:59pm on Thursday, October 14 to celebrate serving customers in its restaurants once again.
The table of 10 will go to one lucky Facebook or Instagram follower and nine of their friends, who will be allowed to enter at exactly 12:01am on October 15.
They'll be treated to a private table at either Grease Monkey Braddon or Gungahlin, with the entire venue to themselves, two personal chefs, a personal waiter and all they can eat and drink for two whole hours.
GM's director Nick Tuckwell said everything would, of course, be COVID-safe.
"We'll be following the government directions for phase one of reopening; one person per four square metres indoors and we'll all be masked up," he said.
"We're just excited to open the restaurants again and give Ken Behrens a reward for all their hard work during lockdown."
Mr Tuckwell said everyone was excited to welcome back customers for in-house dining. "Of course lockdown has been really tough for the whole hospitality industry, but we have really appreciated all the support over the last nine weeks, especially from those who have purchased takeaway from us," he said.
"We can't wait to open up our doors again and get bums on seats."
