Long wait times have continued for the third day running this week, as people flood to PCR testing sites across the territory amid the Omicron outbreak.

As of 2pm Wednesday, ACT Health testing sites at Mitchell and Garran had reopened, after being at capacity for most of Wednesday.
The drive-through testing site at Mitchell had a wait time of more than one-and-a-half hours, while Garran was at 30 minutes.
Kambah had a wait time of more than three hours, while Nicholls was more than two-and-a-half hours.
State Emergency Services crews are on site at testing clinics across the ACT, handing out water and food to people waiting to be tested.
A Canberra Health Services spokesperson said they were dong everything they could to assist people waiting in line.

A testing facility at Holt had one-and-a-half-hour wait time as of 10am, with reports of a 300-metre line around the block.
People have shared reports of waiting with small children in the car for hours, and of waiting outside for a COVID test in the hot sun with no shade or water.
Wait times as of 2pm, Wednesday:
- Mitchell drive-through testing clinic (open 8am to 10pm): 1 hour 30 minutes+
- Garran testing clinic (open 7.30am to 9pm): 30 minutes+
- Kambah drive-through testing clinic (open 8am to 4pm): 3 hours+
- Nicholls testing clinic (open 8am to 3.50pm): 2 hours 30 minutes+
