A mystery Canberran won $2.35 million and the Belconnen group collectively won more than $2.35 million, but "they may have yet to realise their good fortune", The Lott said.
The unregistered division one winning entry was purchased at My Gifts 'n' Paper at Riverside Plaza in Queanbeyan. That person is unaware they are a multi-millionaire.
In addition, some of the Belconnen players - who have won over $200,000 - were also unregistered.
The winning numbers in Lotto draw 4221 on 31 December 2021 were 32, 14, 15, 8, 43 and 20, while the supplementary numbers were 35 and 31.

As these winning entries are unregistered, officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news. Instead, they're waiting for ticketholders to come forward to claim their prizes.
My Gifts 'n' Paper owner Ken Patel said he hoped his elusive winner checked their ticket soon.
"We've been waiting for this news for a long time. It's a really nice feeling to sell a ticket that can change someone's life," he said.
"I wish our winner the very best and I hope all their wishes can be fulfilled. We're thrilled to have delivered some smiles, joy and prosperity to their lives."
Shares into the division one winning syndicate were sold at Gifts 'n' Lotto Xpress at Belconnen Westfield.
The 10 players will share a $2,364,598.58. million prize, taking home nearly $236,460 each.
In addition to winning the division one prize, the store syndicate's entry also scored division three 12 times and division four 15 times, boosting their overall win.

Gifts 'n' Lotto Xpress Belconnen Westfield owner Dhara Patel said it was the first division one winning entry her outlet had sold since she took ownership in 2020.
"This is life-changing news. We hope all our winning syndicate members' dreams come true," she said.
"We've already had a few of the syndicate members come in and discover the news. I'm keen to see the rest of the syndicate winners and share the news with them."
The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said he encouraged everyone in the ACT who had an entry into the New Year's Eve Megadraw to check their tickets as soon as possible.
"You could be the mystery division one winner we're looking for or be part of this winning Belconnen syndicate," he said.
