Nic White says he needs to evolve into a more lethal attacking threat or lose his Wallabies jersey as Australia plots to snap an eight-game losing streak against England.

Rugby Australia has locked in dates for a three-Test series against England with matches to be held in Perth, Brisbane and Sydney - marking the first Test match held at the SCG since 1986 - from July 2.
But White says he is no certainty to claim the starting scrumhalf role for the opening Test with Tate McDermott, Jake Gordon and Ryan Lonergan nipping at his heels.
So he will have a message from Wallabies coach Dave Rennie to become a more potent ball-runner ringing in his ears when he returns to Super Rugby level with the ACT Brumbies.
Rennie is far from locking in his best XV. The door is open for players left out of camp to still force their way into the squad to face England.
MORE RUGBY UNION
Questions hover over the locks, hookers, and halves, which White says is fuelling the fire as he returns to clubland.
"There's a bit of stability as well. This four has pretty much been the four for the past two years now which I think is heaping more pressure on the jersey, because those guys are continually performing," White said.
"Tate is playing really good rugby, he's obviously a captain up here. You've got Lonners down in Canberra pushing pretty hard, and then Jake, again a captain at the Waratahs.
"It's a position that is pretty red hot and we've got a lot of depth there. It's good for me because it means I need to evolve or lose the jersey.
"I'm working pretty hard, and I think I'm continuing to play some good rugby. I'm thankful for it in a way, because they're making me really fight for it and it's getting the better out of me."
The quartet got their first glimpse of the English while in camp with the Wallabies this week before flying out of the Gold Coast to return to their Super Rugby Pacific sides.
White and Lonergan are among a group of 15 Brumbies named in the initial Wallabies squad, set to return to Canberra ahead of a clash with the Fijian Drua in Brisbane on Saturday night.
"They want for you to have in the back of your mind what England is going to come with so it's not completely new to them when they get here," White said.
"We've got 10 weeks, we don't want to waste that 10 weeks. There's areas of our game that we want to work on within our Super clubs, then let's do it. There's a few areas we've had a look at what they're going to bring, but at the same time we've got to play the Kiwis."
