ACT Policing have released CCTV footage and images to assist in the identification of the motorists who were in the area around the time of the death.
Jyle Malloy, a 28-year-old Queanbeyan man, was found dead on Pialligo Avenue about 11.05pm on February 27.
Investigators say he must have travelled to the area in a vehicle as he was last seen about 10.45pm in Russell.
He spent time with friends in the city between 9.30pm and 10.45pm, before walking alone towards Canberra Olympic Pool and up to Constitution Avenue in Russell.
Earlier, Mr Molloy went to the Red Hot Summer festival in Commonwealth Park. He was wearing black jeans, a black "Gee-d-up" T-shirt, Nike shoes and carried a Gucci brand bumbag.
He was discovered with injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
