The Coalition's campaign launch has laid the groundwork for a final week election battle over housing policy, as Labor blasts the government's promise to unlock superannuation for first home buyers.
Labor and one of its former prime ministers Paul Keating were quick to attack the scheme, saying it would undermine the superannuation system and accelerate the rise in house prices.
