It will be held on:
• Friday, August 10 from 10 am to 4 pm
• Saturday, August 11 from 10 am to 4 pm and
• Sunday, August 12 from 10 am to 4 pm.
The book fair is at Woden Seniors Club, 12 Corinna St, Woden (opposite the Woden Library). There is some free parking at the club.
A huge range of books will be for sale including collectables, children's books, fiction and non-fiction, as well as magazines, games, puzzles, vinyl records and DVDs.
An added feature will be the sale of watercolour paintings created by the Woden Seniors’ art group.
Entry is by gold coin donation.
Club president Paul McGlew said the book fair just kept on expanding.
"The community has been very generous with donations,'' he said.
The quality of the books is outstanding. We have a wonderful range of children’s books, which will be in great demand, s get in early. ''
The popular Happy Hour will be on again from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday when all items will be at "rock bottom prices''.
Woden Seniors is a non-profit, charitable organisation that offers a wide range of activities to older people. Proceeds of the book fair support the continued operation of the club.
