A Tarragindi man has been charged by the Crime and Corruption Commission for allegedly being involved in trafficking cocaine throughout south Brisbane.

The CCC charged the 43-year-old on Wednesday afternoon at the Brisbane City Watch House after a major crime investigation, which started last year.
The Tarragindi man is one of five people who have been charged with 19 drug-related offences during the investigation so far.
He was held in custody and was expected to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The man was charged with two counts of supplying dangerous drugs and one count of trafficking dangerous drugs.
