A Brisbane man and two men from Leichardt in Sydney's inner west were charged on Thursday afternoon and expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.
The men, including a custodial officer, were charged with drug offences and other serious offences following two raids in Leichardt, and Banyo, in Brisbane's north, by the Crime and Corruption Commission.
A 25-year-old Banyo man was charged with trafficking dangerous drugs, possession of a dangerous drug, unlawful possession of weapons, possession of property suspected of being proceeds of an offence and possessing a restricted item.
A 26-year-old Leichardt man, who is employed as a custodial officer, has been charged with trafficking dangerous drugs, possession of a dangerous drug and unlawful possession of weapons.
A 29-year-old Leichardt man, who is a former employee of a private operator has been charged with trafficking drugs, possession of a dangerous drug and possession of property suspected of being proceeds of an offence.
The trio was remanded in custody, to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday morning.
