That's exactly what we can expect at Woden with the transformation of the ground floor of the multi-storey car park on Bradley Street.
Six new restaurants will begin serving meals and pouring beers in the long-awaited Bradley Street Dining precinct from April 18.
Canberrans have been given a taste of what's to come at the new Westfield Woden precinct, set to dish out everything from a pub schnitty to fresh sushi.
The offerings will include Vietnamese, desserts and pub classics. Bradley Street will also be where you can find the schnitzelmeister - a six-stack, chicken schnitzel tower topped with napoli sauce, ham and cheese and served with four side dishes served up at The Bavarian.
The new Westfield Woden dining precinct is the result of a $21 million investment and has been built to complement the existing Bradley Street eateries, which include Grill’d, Rashays and San Churro.
The six new restaurants are Fenway Public House, Vietnamese bar Northeast, The Bavarian, Sushi Musa, Espresso Warriors X Sugar Rush and contemporary Chinese restaurant Golden Child.
Scentre Group general manager development Roy Gruenpeter said he was confident the new Bradley Street Dining precinct would become the new "local" for residents in the Woden Valley.
"The combination of great food and vibrant atmosphere will create the perfect destination for family, friends and colleagues to enjoy morning, noon and night," he said.
Adding to the vibrant, urban ambience of the area, Indigenous artworks and edgy street art from Canberran artists will be featured throughout.
