Police are seeking witnesses to another "coward punch" in Civic which knocked a man unconscious and forced him to undergo emergency surgery.

An ACT Policing spokesperson said at about 3am on Saturday a man was approached by three other men while standing at the taxi rank on London Circuit, near the Cube nightclub.
"One of the male persons who was behind the victim punched him to the side of the face causing him to fall to the ground," the spokesperson said.
"The male offender immediately fled the scene."
Officers arrived "a short time later" to find the victim unconscious with facial injuries.
The spokesperson said that after being treated by ACT Ambulance service he was transported to the Canberra Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery.
Police are seeking CCTV footage of the incident.
The assault comes two weeks after police revealed they were still searching for one of three men involved in a trio of assaults in Civic - including a "coward punch" attack that also allegedly left a man unconscious and in need of emergency surgery.
